There\’s still time! We have a few meetings left through-out the province including Kelowna and Nelson.
WCOWMA-BC will be offering a series of Continuing Education Opportunities in the form of Town Hall meetings over the fall and winter of 2013.
The meetings will take place in the evening, and will be comprised of a short workshop followed by open discussion. The workshop focus will be ‘Building A Comprehensive Filing Document’.
Workshops will be available to WCOWMA-BC members at no charge. Non-members will be asked to pay a $20 registration fee.
The workshop will cover the following components:
Completion of filing package including application and supporting documents.
Information sources.
Creation of drawings as per applicable standards (SPM) including site investigation plans, proposed construction plans and detail/section views, and as- built plans
Creation of records of design including site/soils reporting, rationale of design, design calculations, specifications, and related items as per applicable standards
Creation of owner’s manuals and maintenance plans.
This workshop will provide the equivalent of one professional development credit.
